Wockenfuss Candies
Wockenfuss Candies is proud to be one of the oldest candy makers in the Baltimore area, and they are located right here in Baltimore County. The family-owned business is now in its fifth generation of candy-making. In the 12,000-square foot production facility adjacent to the retail store, 70 kinds of chocolate treats are made daily and distributed to Wockenfuss Candies’ eight stores. Herman Charles Wockenfuss came to America in 1887 from Germany and eventually learned how to make candy. In 1915, he proudly opened the Wockenfuss Candy Company, known today as Wockenfuss Candies. In 2015, Wockenfuss will celebrate its 100th anniversary in the business.
