Bromo Art Walk

The Bromo Arts District will open its galleries, studios, theaters, and cultural sites for the fall Bromo Art Walk on Thursday, September 10, from 5 to 9 p.m. The free, self-guided event invites visitors to explore the district’s galleries, open artist studios, live music and theater performances, and hands-on activities spread across several blocks of Downtown Baltimore. More than 30 organizations are participating across 21 sites throughout the district.

Featured experiences include:
• Catacomb tours at Westminster Hall & Burying Ground, held beneath the historic churchyard where Edgar Allan Poe is buried.
• A collaborative public mural project with BRUSH Mural Fest, where guests can help paint a community mural.
• Studio Social at Blakwater, an interactive musical experience featuring in-studio karaoke and collaborative song-building.
• Open studios, exhibitions, live performances, and installations from artists, galleries, cultural organizations, and creative businesses throughout the district.

Visitors can choose their own route and move between locations throughout the evening. Printed maps will be available at each venue, and a digital brochure and Google Map will be published ahead of the event. Lime scooters and bikes will also be available for getting around the district.
The evening concludes with the official Bromo Art Walk After Party from 9 to 11 p.m. at Current Space’s Garden Bar, featuring performances by Micah E. Wood and DJ AAVE, along with drinks and late-night food for purchase.
