Essex CDC Holiday Second Friday

🎉 Essex CDC and The Comfy Cup are opening our doors for a fun and festive Second Friday. It will be the final one of the year! Join us for an evening featuring decoration-making, fun photo opportunities with a festive backdrop, hot chocolate for purchase, and the results of our Painted Storefront Window Contest!

✨ This open-house–style gathering is all about community, creativity, and connection. Enjoy hands-on activities, ways to give back, and plenty of chances to mingle with neighbors. Plus, The Comfy Cup (right next door!) will be OPEN and hosting an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party, a perfect way to add extra holiday cheer to your night.

📸 Inside the Essex CDC Office, stop by our unique “Greetings from Essex” photo backdrop and snap some fun holiday pictures (bring your own camera or phone!).

🎁 We will also be accepting gifts for children and toiletries to support local families this season. Your generosity makes a meaningful difference!

🖼️ And don’t miss your ONLY chance to vote in the Storefront Window Painting Contest!

We will present two awards:

Voter’s Choice Award (decided by YOU!)

“2025 BEST WINDOW” Award (selected by a panel of judges)

🗳️ All votes must be submitted IN PERSON by 7:45 PM, and winners will be announced at 8:00 PM.

Prizes for the artists are made possible by a generous donation from Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union (APGFCU).

We can’t wait to celebrate the holidays with you!
