Family Fun Day Theme: Airport Communication

Families can choose the following activities:
1. Participate in an Airport Communication Workshop at 11:30 am or 1 pm –
Learn about the role of a ground marshal and the signals used to guide an aircraft on the ramp at an airport. Then, practice your skills as a ground marshal, while wearing a safety glasses, a safety vest, and using “wands” to simulate the techniques.

2. Sit in an ejection seat
3. Play with an Airport Play Table
4. Try on a pilot costume or helmet
5. Sit in the cockpit of the 3/5 scale model of the B-26 Marauder
6. Take a guided tour of our outdoor display of aircraft the flight line
