Homeschool Special: On the Eve of Revolution…- 11/3 at 12:30 p.m. Travel back in time 250 years to November 1775 and learn what was going on in the lives of colonists like Banneker. Explore what everyday life was like and learn about why a war for independence was about to break out!

Homeschool Special: Science Lab- 12/1 at 10 a.m. Join BBHPM staff for some exciting science experiments! We’ll be talking about the scientific method and making hypotheses. We’ll experiment with water filtration and learn how watershed systems work.

Homeschool Special: Homespun America- 1/5 at 10 a.m. In honor of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, we’re going to learn about the Homespun Movement and the importance of textiles in Colonial America. Participants will spin wool and learn the roles of women and children, in protesting the British.

Homeschool Special: Revolutionary African Americans- 2/2 at 10 a.m. In honor of Black History Month and the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, we’re going to learn about brave soldiers, advocates, and other freedom-seekers and the difficult journey for independence.
