Nike Missile Site Open House

The Maryland Civil Air Patrol will be hosting an Open House at their Headquarters which the site of a Cold War era Nike Missile Anti-aircraft installation. The public is invited to tour this historical site and learn more about the role the Nike program played to defend US cities from Soviet bombers. During your visit you will be get a short history of the Nike program and the local site. You will then be given a tour of the launch area to include going into one of the underground magazines where the missiles were stored.
