The Maryland State Fair

The Maryland State Fair, located in Timonium, in Baltimore County, is a fun and educational destination sure to captivate visitors of all ages. The annual end of summer event runs for three big weekends: August 27-30, September 3-7 and September 10-13. Gates open at 5 PM on Thursdays and at 10 AM on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The Maryland State Fair is complete with daily livestock, horse, home arts, and farm and garden competitions and exhibits, the U-Learn Farm & Barn, Birthing Center, Midway rides and games, fair treats and farm fresh foods, live concerts and entertainment, live Thoroughbred horse racing, a museum and more. No other event provides so much food, fun, family entertainment, and education for so little.

Anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older. Buildings close at 8 PM, Exhibition Hall closes at 9 PM, Midway stays open until approximately 10 PM.
