Bird feathers include a wide diversity of beautiful colors and architecture, which makes them a wonderful subject for a watercolor study. We will first look at images of bird feathers—some real and some artfully interpreted—and then create our own on watercolor paper. Various watercolor techniques will be used, such as dry brush and fan brush, and your rendering can be realistic, whimsical, or imaginary! All materials provided, including mats so you can frame your feather masterpiece, and wine will also be available.
