If you’re looking for produce, gifts, baked goods, and more, head to the Hereford Farmers Market on Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. starting May 10th. If you can’t pencil in a weekend to visit, stop by the Maryland State Fairgrounds every Wednesday starting in June from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and stroll the sprawling Baltimore County Farmers Market through the end of October.
From May 4th until Thanksgiving week, Catonsville Sunday Farmers Market on Mellor Avenue is an opportunity to meet and greet community members and enjoy a relaxed, old-fashioned farmers market experience. You can also catch their Wednesday market at the year-round Catonsville Farmers Market in the Christian Temple parking lot. They’re open weekly from May to November from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and biweekly from December to April from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A brand-new playground is set to open at this location, so bring the kids to play while you pick up your favorite local essentials.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Overlea Farmers Market on Bel Air Road is open every other Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning June 7th until October 25th. Enjoy local produce, baked goods, fresh flowers, coffee, eggs, and more. Find your organic, locally grown foods and handcrafted products at the Towson Farmers Market on Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., from June 5th until November 20th. The earliest opening date in the county can be found at the Kenilworth Farmers Market located behind The Shops at Kenilworth. Every Tuesday afternoon, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., starting April 29th and ending in November, you can browse a wide variety of local produce, fresh and dry herbs, flavored salts and locally made condiments.

Many farmers markets are held on Saturdays, but if you prefer Sundays, then check out the Reisterstown Farmers Market located outside Franklin Middle School from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. June 8th through September 28th. Skip the bustling crowds and spend a Tuesday afternoon at the Pikesville Farmers Market in Pomona Square on Reisterstown Road. From May 6th through November 25th, they’re open 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. featuring a long list of favorite local vendors. Let Northwest Chamber of Commerce Farmers Market be your late afternoon/evening option from June 18th to October 15th. Located at the Hilton Garden Inn-Owings Mills every Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., you’ll find the traditional favorites, plus sweet treats, home decor, jewelry, food trucks, and special guests.
