A snowball from The Chill is the perfect way to cool off after summertime hiking on the NCR Trail in Parkton. This treat truck is on the riverside just off the trail but pops up in other fun spots during the summer season. Keep an eye on social media to track its whereabouts during your trip.
Traveling with pups in tow? Check out Hereford Zone Snoballs for fun flavors, hand-dipped ice cream, and shaved ice with a milk bone (on a frisbee!) for your four-legged friends.

Snoasis is a family-owned and -operated snowball stand in Timonium that’s been serving up iconic ice since 1977. Stop by for classic flavors like egg custard or skylite—and don’t forget to ask for marshmallow cream.

Husband and wife duo David and Laura Alima traveled around the world for research and development before founding The Charmery, an ice cream shop featuring unique flavors and local ingredients. Italian ice + frozen custard + toppings = your ticket to summer bliss. The Cow is a favorite treat destination and mobile truck offering 60 hand-crafted flavors of Italian ice, 10 flavors of custard, plus non-dairy or sugar-free options.
If frozen yogurt is more your speed, look no further than Yogolaada. Owned and operated by a local family, this unique destination serves smoothies made with fresh seasonal fruits as well as self-serve frozen yogurt with an array of tasty toppings.
The Bus Stop is a must-visit in Baltimore County. Here you’ll find famous “extreme milkshakes” with over-the-top toppings, along with “lollipops”—a treat featuring layers of soft serve and snowball.
