Black Locust Hops Farm Brewery – Camping
Two tent sites. Welcome, to Black Locust Hops Farm Brewery! We are a small, commercial hops farm (the largest in MD) and brewery located on 24 acres in Northern Baltimore County, just minutes from the North Central Railway hiking and biking trail and Gunpowder Falls State Park. We have our own, small, private hiking trail that leads down to our wetlands area (and beaver pond). The best time of year to view our hops (and join a farm tour) is between mid- June and mid- August. The best time of year to enjoy our beverages is ANY TIME! Our taproom is open Thursday- Sunday all year, with live music Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. We have 16 taps of craft beer grown and brewed onsite and always a good array of hard, non- beer beverages, like our famous hard limeade! By law, only alcohol made by us may be carried/ consumed on our property. We are a working farm and do not allow pets on our property. Close attractions include the Gunpowder River, Prettyboy Reservoir and Prettyboy Dam, The Markets at Shrewsbury, and the Northern Central Railway, scenic railroad.
