Burgers, soups, salads, and other comfort-food favorites are sure to satisfy the soul.
Kecco’s Woodfire Kitchen – Parkton

East
Pizza John’s – Essex
A local landmark and cultural staple in Baltimore County for almost 60 years. The family-owned and operated establishment is a visual throwback to the vintage self-service pizza shops of the mid 20th century. What started as a carryout storefront has developed into a beautifully redesigned expansion that seats over 300 customers. It’s the consistent quality of flavors and inviting atmosphere that keeps Baltimore residents coming back. They specialize in crispy Sicilian thin crust, which is made from the fresh, handmade dough tossed right in front of customers as they enter. The generous amount of cheese and unique kick to the homemade sauce give it a unique blend of flavor. It’s where Baltimore goes for pizza.
Dominick’s Pizza – Parkville
Dominick’s pies are off the charts, literally. You can order a pizza that measures up to 18 inches. The thick, hand-tossed crunchy rising crust steals the show and could easily feed a family of four. Just like their pizzas, the menu and portion sizes are very generous. With items like “Famous Overstuffed Subs”, half pound burgers, and jumbo wings, there’s no shortage of options and you’ll have leftovers for days.
Angelino’s Pizza – Parkville
The new neighbor on the block is quickly establishing itself as a go-to option in Parkville. Angelino’s opened their doors in 2022 and has found success through their fast-casual dining, extensive carryout menu, catering options, and delivery accommodations. But the pizza is equally as satisfying as the friendly community atmosphere. The tangy sauce and the balance of soft, yet crunchy, dough will make you want to come back and try the rest of their authentic Italian menu.
DeSantis Pizza Grill & Bar – Perry Hall
The family-owned and operated restaurant is a beloved fixture on Bel Air Road and the surrounding areas. Their pan-style pizzas are crafted from the famous Matthew’s Pizza on Eastern Avenue, which has been featured on Food Network and named best pizza in Baltimore 83 times. The unique dough creates individual sized portions that are deeper than traditional pies, but not too thick like a deep-dish. Perfectly crispy, crunchy crust surrounds the fresh, sweet tomato sauce. Luckily, it’s not quite big enough to be sharable pizza, so you’ll be able to claim most of it for yourself.
